形态描述：小灌木，高约1米；小枝灰色，密被星状短柔毛。叶卵形至卵状披针形，长3-7厘米，宽1.5-2.5厘米，先端长尾状，基部截形，全缘，上面被不明显星状细柔毛，背面密被星状绒毛；叶柄长3-20毫米，被星状绒毛和丛卷毛；托叶钻形，长约3毫米。花小，黄色，排列成疏散的圆锥花序，或单生于叶腋间，花梗长1-2厘米，果时延长达4厘米，被细柔毛，近端具节；花萼碟状，长约3毫米，裂片正三角形，锐尖；花冠直径约7毫米，花瓣黄色，倒卵形，长约4毫米；雄蕊柱无毛，顶端具数束分离花丝；花柱短，柱头头状。蒴果倒圆锥形，直径约1厘米，顶端截平；分果爿5，具横隔膜，先端具喙，近无毛；种子黑色，长约3毫米，位于上面2颗种子被星状毛或单毛，下面的1颗种子密被单长毛。花期9月至翌年2月。
